Mr Tanna was instrumental in leading the construction of Tanzania’s METRO Optical Fiber Infrastructure in 2002, the project significantly enhancing internet accessibility across the nation. Currently, Mr.

Tanna holds the position of Chair at the Tanzania Association of Cable Operators (TACOL) and serves on the Executive Committee of the Tanzania Internet Services Providers Association (TISPA), where he drives membership growth and fosters collaboration among cable operators nationwide. Over the years, Mr Tanna has gathered a wealth of expertise in telecommunications. His leadership skills, strategic vision, and ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes have been crucial to the success of various initiatives aimed at advancing connectivity and communication technologies in Tanzania.
