Claver Serumaga

With more than 17 years of experience, Claver previously served as the Deputy Managing Director of Bank of Africa Kenya (BOAK) where he was key in steering the bank to profitability. In his earlier role as Chief Digital Officer at Bank of Africa Group, he established and steered the Group’s Digital Transformation Strategy across 16 countries in Africa in the year 2017. Claver is an accomplished banker with strategic business leadership and business development experience.

Through strategic foresight, drive and determination, he has built diverse and inclusive teams in the banking industry with forward-thinking methodologies that push boundaries. Mr. Serumaga is a Fellow of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK) and holds an MBA in Executive Management from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.
