Ayoub Mtafya

Mr. Ayoub Mtafya is a Partner at NexLaw Advocates, an Advocate of the High Court and also a Registered Tax Consultant with Tanzania Revenue Authority. B (Hons) (Dar), Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Management (PGDTM), Institute of Finance Management (IFM).

He has also attended a short course (Investment Lawyers Course) that was organized by International Development Law Organization in Rome, Italy. Mr. C.

His areas of expertise are Taxation, Banking, Corporate, Legislative Drafting, General litigation and Arbitration. Mr. Mtafya has advised both for profit and not profit organizations on tax law.

He has represented clients in the Tax Revenue Appeals Board, Tax Appeals Tribunal and in the Court of Appeal on tax matters. He has handled receivership, recovery of debts on behalf of banks, winding up of companies as a liquidator, secured licenses for clients from various regulatory authorities including the Bank of Tanzania, Contractors Registration Board and Tanzania Investment Center.
