Pratish Kakkad

Pratish Kakkad is the director of Skymark Plaza Limited, a privately owned real estate company in Dar es Salam. Born in the town of Shinyanga, Tanzania his formative years were spent in India pursuing his primary and secondary education. Maganlal Kakkad.

After a successful inning at the family-run business of importing bicycles and bicycle spares and agricultural implements under the company Shinyanga Emporium (1978) Limited, Mr. Pratish Kakkad ventured into the real estate sector and established the company Skymark Plaza Limited in 2004 with a vision to serve the market of Tanzania with reliable and long term real estate services. As the director of a real estate company, he envisioned a scenario where his clients could get all the housing, warehousing, and commercial needs satisfied under one roof.

He made his dream come true by creating a large bouquet of properties from which the clients can choose as per their needs and the company became a trustworthy source to look for all real estate solutions. His visionary perspective has earned him opportunities to develop iconic properties and the best specimen is the SKYMARK PlAZA, a colossal commercial complex along Nyerere Road, Dar es Salaam which stands testimony to the robust construction spanning 26,000 square meters of commercial space on a strategic location with modern amenities. He aspires to develop real estate projects in the future that can be proved beneficial to society at large.
