Mrisho Yassin

Mrisho provides the overall leadership of Swissport Tanzania. He reports to the Board of Directors of Swissport Tanzania Plc. and is charged with the governance and all strategic matters within the organization to ensure the achievement of the organization’s short and long terms goals.

Prior to being a CEO in December 2016, Mrisho was Swissport Tanzania Plc’s Chief Financial Officer for 6 years. As a CFO, he was responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related functions of the company. He also managed Procurement and IT functions.

Prior to joining Swissport, Mrisho worked for KPMG and Ernst & Young Tanzania at different periods. He, therefore, possesses massive external audit, internal audit, consulting and financial management experiences acquired at both local and international levels. During this time, he served private sector clients in the manufacturing, mining, banking, insurance and service industries some of which were listed companies.

He also served clients in the public sector (Government institutions, donor-funded projects and NGO’s). Com. Hon), he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with the Tanzanian National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
